A pair of high-top sneakers placed side by side on a black background. The left sneaker is red with white laces, while the right sneaker is blue with white laces. Both shoes have a worn, vintage appearance with visible scuff marks on the toe caps and dirt on the rubber soles. The laces on both shoes are loosely tied, with the ends hanging down to the sides. The image has a striking contrast due to the dark background, making the colors of the sneakers stand out prominently

But, I Also Love Food

The whole time I was experimenting with film, I couldn’t shake my love of food simmering on the back burner of my mind. So, after I graduated, I decided to marry my two loves of food and photography together and become a food photographer.

The image shows a close-up of a garlic naan pizza served on a green plate. The pizza is topped with ingredients such as caramelized red onions, fresh basil leaves, shredded mozzarella cheese, and tomato sauce. The edge of the plate has some scattered red pepper flakes. In the background, there are out-of-focus basil leaves, adding a fresh and rustic feel to the setting. At the bottom right corner, there are two small cherry tomatoes and a white cloth napkin partially visible.

Eat Like There’s No Tomorrow!

Eventually, I started a food blog that I called Nomageddon, where I invited my readers to “Eat Like There’s No Tomorrow.” I shared my knowledge of food and cooking, along with my expertise in photography. It truly was a place where people could go to learn everything they needed to know about food and food photography.

Nomageddon also had its own viral success when I created Poop Peeps—DIY Marshmallow Peeps shaped like the poop emoji. I loved the blog, and it was starting to gain traction like crazy until the shoe dropped, and it was a massive fucking shoe.
